Chiropractic Assistant
When the clinic advertised for a new C.A. in 2006 I had recently finished courses in Swedish and Sports massage whilst working full time in retail. I was at a point in my life where I was looking for something that would give me a better work life balance with a young family. The atmosphere in the clinic was warm and friendly and I felt I fitted in well. Not knowing much about chiropractic before joining, I was quickly amazed (and still am) at how chiropractic treatment was changing people’s lives as their health improved after treatment.
That seems a long time ago now, made even more pronounced when babies I used to hold in one arm while mother was being adjusted and answering the phone with the other, now stand taller than me and are still getting checked over themselves. Also, my own family growing up, who have all had chiropractic care at different phases in their lives, and with more time on my hands I was able to take up more hobbies.
My biggest passion at the moment is Lawn bowls, or as my youngest described it, Old Man Bowls. Admittedly we do have bowlers in their 90’s, but we have Junior bowlers from school sessions, and a strong county presence with our teenage bowlers.
